ＢＥＴＴＹ was one of the first people aboard the ship who treated him with such kindness; she let him cook with her and never spoke or acted in any other way but careful and gentle. She reminded him a lot of Reika, from the long hair to the soft demeanor. Now that she's vanished, he seeks comfort in thinking maybe the others are right, and people do truly return home. Thinking of her ending up like some of the Gantz team members... it makes him unbearably sad. Will the ship do this to him a lot? Maybe it's really not that different from home.
