ＭＡＴＴＩＥ always seems to be there when he needs a little help, something Takeshi's noted. Very formal and intelligent, she's never one to turn down helping where helping is needed. He's never really been around a girl her age, and if he had half a mind to think about it, her presence thus far might be considered 'sisterly'. She's shown him a few things to help him survive, so if he has any questions, he's more than likely to lean toward Mattie. He hopes that she'll be able to teach him to read (and admittedly, part of him is eager to have 'school').
Mattie's gone. She just... vanished.
Takeshi hasn't forgotten. He'll keep doing his best at school... and with cooking, and taking care of himself. He won't forget.
